Offshore Report: The kingfish bite has been a good one off of Juno/Jupiter for the last week or so.  Most fish have been caught between 80-110ft.  Live bait has been the best option, with sardines or goggle eyes working the best.  Some bait has started to show up around the pier and along the beach so make sure you have a rod rigged with a sabiki rig ready.  Drifting dead sardines has also worked well.  Blackfin tuna have started showing up in the same area as well.  The evening hours have seemed to be the best time to target them.

The wahoo bite off of Palm Beach has picked up as well.  It’s a little early for them to be showing up, but we’ve gotten multiple reports this week of wahoo caught on the early morning troll.  Rigged split tail mullet or horse ballyhoo have been the bait of choice.  Putting a Blue/White or Red/Black Iland lure has done the trick and keeps your baits from washing out at high speeds.  A few nice dolphin have been mixed in as well for those trolling.  Depths for the wahoo have been 150-300ft from the Dodge Wall to Lost Tree.

Inshore/Beach:  There have still been plenty of Pompano in the area in recent weeks.  Schools are starting to move back North and have been plentiful from MacArthur Park to Hobe Sound.  Rigs tipped with sandfleas, Fish Bites, or Fish Gum have all produced.  There have been Whiting and Croakers mixed in as well with the pompano.  Snook are starting to move out of the canals and rivers of the Intercoastal and make their way to Palm Beach and Jupiter Inlet.  The snook bite has been good in the evening hours around the bridges in Northern Palm Beach.  Flair style jigs have been the best bait to use.
