Offshore Fishing Report:  The Dolphin bite has still been red hot off of Palm Beach.  Trolling has been productive and those live baiting have also reported good numbers of fish being caught this week.  Most of the fish have been between 150-400ft. from the Palm Beach Inlet to Juno.  On the troll, mono rigged ballyhoo or squid have been the best bet.  For live baiters, pilchards or smaller goggle eyes out of a kite setup or bump trolling has worked also.  Sailfishing has picked up in the same area with 5-8 hookups not uncommon in a day.  Bottom fishing has been steady this week with reports of nice Mutton Snapper being caught between 80-110ft.  Frozen sardines on a double hook rig will work the best with a 10-15ft fluorocarbon leader.  Plenty of Vermillion Snapper are being caught as well a little further offshore.  Look for rock piles in 300-400ft off of Palm Beach and use guppy rigs baited with squid.

Inshore Fishing Report:  The bite along the beach has significantly picked up! With this morning’s temperature dip into the 40’s we had multiple reports of nice sized Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish being caught in Juno from the site of the old pier to North of the Juno Pier.  Got-cha lures, spoons, and diamond jigs are going to produce the best results for both of those toothy critters.  The Pompano bite in the Juno/Jupiter area has remained steady, with the fish starting to grow in size.  Using Gulfstream High Jinks jigs and Goofy Jigs for Pompano produce tons of fish this time of year and are a blast on light tackle.  For those looking to stick a rod in the sand and relax, a Pompano rig tipped with clams, sandfleas, or Fish Bites will also work.  There have also been a few kingfish being caught at the Juno Pier.  If live baiting, using a trolley rig will produce.  A Rapala X-Rap is your best bet if you’re trying to land one on an artificial lure.
