Offshore:  Bottom fishing has slowed this week.  This mostly due a cold water upwelling and the current ripping to the North between 3-4 knots.  The kingfish bite has remained the same off of Juno and Jupiter, plenty of fish around but most less than 10 lbs.  Wahoo fishing picked up weekend and should only continue to get hotter.  It seems this summer that trolling with a planer has produced the best results, but the wireline still works well.  A few fish were also reported the last few days being caught on live bait.  Dolphin have still been scattered with a few nice fishing being caught along weed lines in 900-1500 ft of water.

The Third Leg of the WPBFC Full Moon Wahoo Series takes place this Saturday, August 25 with the optional captains meeting taking place at Steamhorse Brewing Company taking place Thursday, August 23.

Inshore:  Palm Beach and Jupiter Inlets remain the hot spots for snook as the season quicky approaches on September 1. Live mullet and croakers on the bottom have worked best.  A lot of snook are along the beach as well following the glass minnow schools.  Smaller paddle-tail baits like a D.O.A. CAL or a Hogy Protail swimbait give you the best results.  The bite has been best first thing in the morning or late afternoon.
